BIRTH OF THE PROJECT 

After giving birth to a special child and looking after her from childhood, I have a greatestchallenge of which school she has to attend. After several unsuccessful in getting my child inschool, I was advice to send her to special school which I did. However after 2 terms I could notafford again with the high cost of tuition as a single parent. I decided to teach my child on myown and gradually other I decided to include other disadvantage children which eventually growthe passion in me to establish an all-inclusive school for disadvantage children.

For the boldness I took to care and teach has eventually lead to a growing number of childrenand that has evolve into this school. I will want to use my case to let all parents with specialchildren not to relent and strive to give a helping hand for these unfortunate children, which I dowith passion and feel satisfied.

we strives to provide equal and accessible education for the disadvantage with special focus on special children who needs special care and cannot have access to normal schools in Ghana. Being a mother of one it has been a hell finding a school for my child.Located in a semi-rural peri-urban community in Kasoa, where a lot of children who are supposed to be in school are not for the simple fact parents can’t afford tuition, educational resources and daily lunch. Although Ghana is said to implementing a free compulsory universal education, the fact is that parents can’t afford the hidden cost of books, a daily lunch, sports and uniform fees. In the case of special children who need special care the cost is overwhelming and this put them away from school. Although the government is doing well, there are a lot more children whose parent can’t afford the daily expenses of lunch (3.5 GhC just about 0.70c USdollars). We at Love Elelyon Experimental School endeavor to provide an equal access to quality education Open to all children no matter their status and threat them as children.

 Is a basic school. We run crèche, nursery ,kindergarten, primary 1 to 6 and currently have over 70 children and 15 special children enrolled.

SPONSORSHIP;

 Your donation and Sponsorship is crucial to the running of school. Many parents are an employed and cannot afford any financial commitment to support their children whiles in school.Your support will help these children continue their school and become responsible citizens.

 A sponsorship of $240 will carter for a child for 1 year education. (This includes learning resources, daily lunch, and water and help pay salaries. It will also help us set up a library facility for children in ad around the school area.Please here is a cross section of some of children:
